We are excited to share the latest enhancements deployed to Invent Medical! This update introduces manual appointment SMS dispatch with follow-up status triggers, international phone inputs with country flag pickers, centralized insurance price lists, comprehensive medical dashboard payment breakdowns, and in-app mobile navigation and printing enhancements.

💬 Manual SMS & Appointment Communication​

  • Manual SMS Dispatch:
    • Added support for sending manual SMS messages directly from appointment forms and the calendar right-click menu.
    • Selecting an appointment SMS template automatically popures message text, with options to mark templates as Manual Only to prevent automated schedule triggers.
    • Templates can preselect a follow-up status that automatically applies to the appointment once the SMS is sent (restricted to users with appointment editing permissions).
  • Communication Log Tracking:
    • Manually sent SMS messages appear directly in the patient's communication log alongside automated reminders and confirmations, detailing the sender, phone number, delivery status, and failure reasons if applicable.

☎️ International Phone Numbers & Country Pickers​

  • Country Picker Integration:
    • Added international phone inputs featuring country flags and search filters for country names and dial codes across patient and partner forms, defaulting to the company's operating country.
    • Entered numbers are automatically stored in full international format, while ID card reads, manual SMS triggers, and WhatsApp links intelligently parse numbers without country codes using the company's default country.
    • Invalid numbers display helpful validation warnings while still allowing records to be saved successfully.

📑 Insurance Price Lists & Billing Estimates​

  • Centralized Insurance Pricing:
    • Introduced a dedicated Insurance Price Lists management page under Insurance settings, removing the need to configure prices per procedure individually.
    • Create new lists, duplicate existing ones, assign target insurers, and edit approved prices while viewing standard prices side by side.
    • Support for bulk row selection and preview modifications, direct linking to insurance policy templates, and full Excel export/import support with pre-application error checking and protected insurer codes.
  • Accurate Patient Estimates:
    • Patient estimates on medical invoices now accurately calculate as the total invoice amount minus the insurer estimate, ensuring uncovered or rejected lines factor correctly into the patient's share.
    • Claim procedure codes now print directly on invoices, and insurance claim overall reports include invoice number and gross amount columns.

📊 Dashboard Patient Payments & Analytics​

  • Medical Dashboard Payment Breakdown:
    • Introduced a new Patient Payments Breakdown section on the medical dashboard complete with summary tiles, provider allocation tables, and payment method summaries respecting active date ranges and provider filters.
    • Data exports support Excel and PDF formats (up to 2,000 records).
    • Enhanced the Patient Payments report with dedicated columns for invoice line provider allocations, expanded price list support up to three decimals, and added pagination to package redemption tables.

📱 Mobile App Performance & Navigation​

  • In-App Navigation & File Handling:
    • Upgraded mobile app routing to open pages internally without reloading, significantly accelerating navigation speeds.
    • Enabled native in-app support for document printing, file downloads, chart viewing, and PDF/report exports, including patient panel charts across all modules.

📂 Documents​

  • Document Folders & Telemedicine Category:
    • Users with document category update permissions can now reorder document folders.
    • New accounts automatically include a dedicated Telemedicine document category for audio and video recording storage.
